Life flashes past.
Ever rushing;
Never stopping.
Some climb out the window.
On top
Pulses race,
Wind on their face
As they look to the sun.
Fall off and their journey is done.
Safest place is in your seat;
Reach the journey’s end
As life flashed by
In reflections.
Aging face
Reflects sadly back.
Soon to run out of track.
Shouts and cheer
Beyond your view.
Time to get up,
Explore and seek.
No more time
To sit so meek.
Hear the rushing of the train.
Get up! Explore!
There is much more:
Laughter and pain
Sun and rain.
Explore the whole train.
At the end;
Your journey’s done,
Happily turn to face the sun,
Celebrate!
“I’ve been! I’ve done!”
