Teach Your Child to Read with Movement, Fun & Games -
A Games-in-a-book Reading Programme By: Sharon Stansfield BSc(OT)
Sharon used her extensive experience of child development and learning to create this unique reading programme which uses games to teach reading. Use it from Foundation Phase (Nursery School) through Primary School.
Sharon used occupational therapy techniques and her experience with learning disorders to develop a fun-filled reading program to help children with SPD; auditory processing difficulties; ADHD & Dyslexia . She explains in the book why vestibular processing & bilateral integration are key elements that make this program so effective.
The joy of this games-in-a-book reading program is that it also works extremely well with young children who do not have any learning difficulties and you don't have to be trained to use it. Sharon has done all the planning, set each game in developmental order and used the format of a recipe book to make it easy to follow.
Homeschoolers can use this book to inject fun while following the correct steps to teach reading.
Parents & grandparents can use it to supplement school lessons in fun-filled games.
Teachers, remedial teachers & therapists are already using it.
